SAP ATTP is an industry-specific solution developed for the pharmaceutical industry that supports and simplifies the serialization and tracking strategy for pharmaceutical products. Serialization combines the areas of international legislative regulations, IT solutions and logistics systems. The primary objective is to prevent counterfeiting of medicines and thus contribute to patient safety.
The system is designed specifically to deal with the large volumes of data and messages required by ICH guidelines and is GS1 compliant. It offers serial number management and an event archive. It provides tight integration with ERP (SAP ERP), production lines and third party systems involved in the lifecycle tracking process of pharmaceutical products for different legislations (EU, Russia, China and other countries).
